About us
The Hair Parlour is a modern unisex hair salon situated in an ideal location, just off the M1 Motorway on the Glenavy Road between Moira and Maghaberry. This prime location is centrally located to the nearby villages of Aghalee, Aghagallon and Ballinderry.
The salon boasts free on-site parking and a nearby ATM. As part of our continued commitment to customer convenience we offer free WiFi in the salon and can now accept credit and debit cards. The fresh, clean and welcoming environment along with our friendly staff is all designed to make you feel at ease and enjoy your visit.

Emma Gorman
Emma has over twenty years’ experience in hairdressing and is professionally trained by Toni & Guy, Wella, Schwarzkopf and Alfaparf Milano in specialist cutting and styling techniques. Emma also has extensive knowledge of Tigi, L’Oreal, Aveda, Wella, Schwarzkopf, Clynol and Alfaparf colouring and hair care products.
Emma completed the Level 3 NVQ Hairdressing and Level OCR A1 Assessors Award at the South Eastern Regional College in Lisburn. After completing a Level 5 BTEC HNC in Advanced Therapeutic Hair Studies at Belfast Metropolitan College in 2010, Emma progressed on to complete a Level 5 BTEC HND in Therapeutic Hair Sciences in 2012 and in 2015, completed the Alfaparf Milano Master Colour Degree. During her education Emma was awarded the 2004 Modern Apprentice of the Year for Hairdressing and 2010 Student of the Year for Outstanding Achievement.

Responsible Hairdressing
Looks are important; we wouldn’t be here if they weren’t. But at what cost?
Some chemicals used in today’s top brands can damage your hair and cause allergic reactions. At the Hair Parlour we are committed to responsible hairdressing, which means our customers health and well-being come first.
That is why we ask all new clients to take a skin allergy (patch) test at least 24 hours before and no sooner than seven days prior to their appointment for colour services where the application is in contact with the customers scalp. The test only takes a few minutes and no appointment is necessary.
Cancellations
We aim to accommodate all our customers where possible and we often have a waiting list for appointments at busy times. Therefore, the Hair Parlour requests at least 24 hours’ notice if you must cancel your appointment. Missing or failing to cancel appointments without sufficient notice may result in a 50% non-refundable deposit being required to make any further appointments.
